Form 740NP-WH print requirements

To print form 740NP-WH, Kentucky Nonresident Income Tax Withholding on Distributive Share Income Report and Composite Income Tax Return:

Go to Organizer
, select Partner Information
, then Partner by Partner Data
, then Partner Name
.

Select the
State Partner Information
tab and find the State Composite Returns
section.

Select Kentucky
for at least 1 nonresident partner.

In Organizer, select States
then Kentucky
.

Select Nonresident Withholding
and complete the applicable details.

Form 740NP-WH will print when there is a tax liability:

In Tax Forms
, go to States
, then Kentucky
.

Select Nonresident Withholding
, then 740NP-WH
, then the 740NP-WH, Page 1
tab.

Make sure there is an amount or NONE in line 8
.

Do a full recompute, then print.

If the form doesn’t print, check if it’s suppressed:

Make sure the common state print suppression is not enabled:

In the Organizer
, go to States
, then Common State
.

Select Print Suppression
.

In the row for Kentucky
, make sure the State Forms
checkbox is clear.

Make sure the state organizer print suppression is not enabled:

In the Organizer
, go to States
, then Kentucky
.

Select Return Options
, then navigate to the Print Suppression
Section.

Make sure the Form 740NP-WH
checkbox is clear.

Do a full recompute, then print.
