Period Comparison Error

Error Message: Current and prior period/year comparison exceeds the set tolerance level.
The
Management information schedule
(
A2/B
) performs a check to compare current and prior period/year data in order to flag any instances where this exceeds the set tolerance or where the company’s tax position has changed (in other words, tax was payable in the prior period but the company is now due a refund or vice versa).
You can clear these errors by selecting the arrows next to each error in the columns on the far right of the schedule or by selecting to confirm that the inconsistency has been reviewed at the bottom of the schedule. The tolerance level can be set in the column
Tolerance
level for each figure; the standard deviation tolerated is 20%. Any changes to the tolerance level are present in future periods.

Clearing Errors

If you have multiple errors, you can clear the
Prior period comparison reviewed
and
Prior year year comparison reviewed
check boxes near the bottom of the page to clear all errors at once.
The red warnings are removed from all rows where tolerance were exceeded.
