Corey Cherr lead the Agriculture and Weather teams within the Commodities Research and Forecasting group of Thomson Reuters.
Corey believes that because we have ever more data and technologies to help us answer society’s most challenging questions, there is also greater need than ever to distill the most fundamental relationships evidenced by data.
Will the weather of today and the climate of the future bring us crops sufficient to meet our needs?
The Agriculture and Weather teams at Thomson Reuters are focused on bounding the uncertainty around the global supply of grains and oilseeds using a combination of field observation, satellite imagery, weather and soil moisture information, geographic and economic histories and post-harvest surveys. The desktop and enterprise platforms of Thomson Reuters allow them to expand and deliver more underlying data, analytical capabilities and expert insights to a global market.
