Meet Our People
Charlie is a Talent Acquisition Manager for Europe and his role is to partner with hiring managers and human resources to plan and to implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain the best talent for Thomson Reuters.
Charlie is originally from Glasgow with Scots Italian heritage and was educated at a boarding school in Yorkshire as "home" was everywhere from Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Senegal, Benin. He graduated from Newcastle University with single honors in Politics before doing a post-graduate in Marketing at the University of Strathclyde Business School. After University, he wanted a people/customer-focused role and found himself falling into recruitment. Charlie was fortunate to have had his grounding in two global recruitment firms before moving in-house at Thomson Reuters.
Outside of his day job, Charlie loves skiing, traveling and watching movies. He is married to a very lovely and patient woman from the island of Malta and together they have two wee boys under the age of 5 who keep him more than busy.
