Thomson Reuters Elite Introduces Its Latest Cloud-Based Offering: 3E Business Development
EAGAN, MN – Thomson Reuters Elite has moved its business development service to the cloud, improving scalability and security, decreasing infrastructure costs, and accelerating ROI. The new service, 3E® Business Development in the cloud, is hosted in a multi-tenant cloud environment using Microsoft Azure.
3E Business Development (formerly Business Development Premier) combines Enterprise Relationship Management technology, marketing automation, and experience management to drive more successful marketing and business development initiatives. As an integral part of the Elite Enterprise Business Management Solution, it provides advanced functionality to help law firms and professional services organizations gain increased insight into key relationships with no additional data entry. Sophisticated search tools, relationship monitoring, and advanced reporting work together to find and leverage a firm’s strongest relationships.
3E Business Development elevates contact relationships to a new level of Enterprise Relationship Management. Unlike customer relationship management systems (CRM), which typically cover only a fraction of a firm’s most critical contacts, 3E Business Development mines relationships within the firm, providing three to five times more contacts than a typical CRM database. Contacts are run against Thomson Reuters business and executive profile databases, providing a much more comprehensive and detailed view of the firm’s relationships with customers and prospects.
“3E Business Development marries the best of cloud, big data and relationship management technology to allow firms to be more on point in their marketing, client management and business intelligence efforts,” said Eric Ruud, managing director for Elite. “Cloud computing is on the rise and shows no signs of slowing down, as businesses everywhere are realizing the benefits that hosting their data and applications in the cloud can provide. The new service is an important addition to Elite’s portfolio of offerings and underscores our commitment to employing the latest technologies to help customers flourish.”
