Thomson Reuters Adds O’Brien’s Encyclopedia of Forms to WestlawNext Canada

Additional industry-leading content, resources will be incorporated in the future

TORONTO, June 24, 2020 Thomson Reuters announced the addition of O’Brien’s Encyclopedia of Forms, which has been relied upon by legal professionals for its comprehensive collection of customizable forms and precedents for more than 125 years, to WestlawNext Canada.

Now, customers can apply the enhanced functionality of Canada’s premier legal research service to search O’Brien’s Encyclopedia of Forms. With this integration, the content customers value will continue, but with the numerous advantages WestlawNext Canada provides, including a robust user interface, powerful search capabilities, KeyCite, the ability to add notes and highlights to research, folders to hold and share vital information, and more.

“Customers have been asking for this integration and we have delivered,” said Maria Cooley, general manager, Thomson Reuters Canada. “We recognize that these are challenging times for our customers, and we want to ensure we are delivering on our promise to make it as easy as possible for them to serve their clients by allowing access to the resources and content they need anywhere, anytime.”

With Canada’s largest collection of forms and precedents, users can choose from thousands of documents drafted by experts in nine key areas, including:
