Add field restrictions to your search if you're looking for something very specific or your search is giving too many results.
tip
You can combine field restrictions with connectors in your search.
TI() — find documents with a title that includes these terms. For example, TI(prospectus).
AU() — find documents by an Author (a Practical Law team or external contributor). For example, AU(pensions) will show documents by Practical Law's Pensions team.
CI() — find a document when you know the document ID. For example, CI(1-422-4500).
SY() — find documents that contain the search terms in the synopsis or introduction. For example, SY("compulsory purchase").
ATLEASTn() — find documents that contain the search terms at least n times.
