Migrate to the Thomson Reuters Account for ONESOURCE customers

User: Upgrade to the Thomson Reuters Account

Your ONESOURCE administrator flagged your account to upgrade. The next time you sign in, you can upgrade to a Thomson Reuters Account. Follow this process to complete the upgrade.
After you upgrade, you'll enter your email address to sign in. Depending on the upgrade your administrator chose, you'll have a slightly different experience.

If you don't have the option to
Dismiss
 the upgrade window, then you need to complete the
Upgrade
 process before you can use the application.
Go to your sign-in page to start the upgrade process. If your firm is using Single Sign-On (SSO), for example, you'll continue to use the same URL unless your administrator provides a new link.
  1. Select
    Upgrade
    .
  2. Enter your
    First Name
     and
    Last Name
    .
  3. Review the profiles that match your email address. Contact your administrator if you need to make changes to these before the upgrade.
  4. Select
    Upgrade
    .
  5. If you already have a Thomson Reuters Account, you'll be asked to sign in. If not, you'll need to reset your password and verify your email.
  6. Go to your email and follow the instructions in your password reset email.
  7. Sign in with your email after you've reset your password.
    note
    You'll select a migrated profile after signing in. If you have any profiles that haven't migrated yet, you'll need to sign in to those with your ONESOURCE Universal ID and password.
  8. If you've never set up MFA or 2-factor authentication and it's required by your company, you'll need to enroll after signing in. Learn more about 2-factor authentication.
