screens for integration with the 2024 version of UltraTax CS and GoSystem Tax RS.

We added Form W-2 Box 12 Code II for selection on pay items in the
Main
tab of the

screen.

Federal

We added the ability to electronically file the following Form 1099 types, both original and corrected submissions, via IRIS (Information Return Intake System) for tax year 2024. (Idea Incubator #8437)

The charge to electronically file a Federal 1099 form sent via CS Connect is $14 per client per form type per tax year unless you are licensed for the 1099 Unlimited Electronic Filing Module.
If the client’s original Federal 1099 form for a specified tax year is electronically filed through Accounting CS, there is not an additional charge for filing the corresponding Corrected 1099 form.

Maine

We added the Maine Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) taxes (both employer and employee), that become effective January 1, 2025. As a result, we made the following changes to accommodate the new tax.

We removed Form W-3ME as it is now obsolete starting in tax year 2024.

We updated Form 1099 internet files. We now create the files even when there is no Mississippi state withholding amount. (Idea Incubator #3294)
