Use the Source Document Processing Status portlet

You can use the Source Document Processing Status portlet in the Firm dashboard to view the status of source documents and transmit and retrieve multiple source documents in the engagement binder at the same time.
  1. In the Firm Dashboard, select
    Select Portlets
     at the top of the screen to open the
    Select Portlets
     screen.
  2. Mark the
    Source Document Processing Status
     checkbox then select
    OK
    .
  3. In the Source Document Processing Status portlet, you can view the status of source documents for all clients in the grid and take the appropriate action.

    Action
    Waiting to transmit
    Source documents are ready to be transmitted to the Thomson Reuters secure data centers for OCR processing from the Source Document Processing folder in the Engagement Binders Tree portlet. Select
    Transmit/Retrieve All
     to begin processing all source documents with a status of Waiting to transmit. Alternatively, you can select the link in the Status at Thomson Reuters data center column for a single workpaper.
    Processing
    Source documents have been transmitted to the Thomson Reuters secure data centers and are currently processing. Select
    Transmit/Retrieve All
     to retrieve all source documents that have finished processing, or select
    Refresh
     to refresh the status of the source documents.
    Downloaded
    Source documents have been retrieved back into the engagement binder and are available to organize. Select
    Clear Downloads
     to clear items in the grid with this status.
  4. Verify that items with a status of
    Downloaded
     in the Source Document Processing Status portlet are present in the Source Document Processing folder of the Engagement Binders Tree portlet with a status of
    Waiting to organize
    .
  5. Right-click the source document and select
    organize
     or
    delete
     the source document.
note
  • You can select the link in the
    Status at Thomson Reuters data center
     column for a single workpaper rather than selecting
    Transmit/Retrieve All
    .
  • The Last Updated date and time status at the top of the portlet indicates the last time that the status was refreshed in the portlet.
  • You can select the column header commands to sort the items in the grid.
