Create a Time Tracking Project in Checkpoint

Before you can begin tracking your time in Checkpoint

, you must create a project.
  1. Open
    Time Tracking
    .
  2. In the Time Tracking - Project List window, select
    Create a Project
    , or in the Time Tracking screen, select
    Create a Project
    .
  3. Enter an
    Identifier
    , such as the client name or account number.
  4. Complete the
    Description 1
    and
    Description 2
    fields if needed. We recommend that you use the same categorization as your billing system, so any Time Tracking information can be handled accurately.
  5. Complete the
    Employee ID
    and
    Notes
    fields if needed.
  6. Select
    Save
    .
