Inventory Test Counts & Tag Control WPNE

This workbook provides two worksheets: The Inventory Test Counts worksheet provides the form to document test counts recorded during observation of the physical inventory count. The Inventory Tag Control worksheet provides the form to facilitate the documentation of an inventory count if the client uses tags.

Entering Data

For the summary information at the bottom of the test count worksheet to calculate correctly, the first and last columns of the worksheet must be completed for each test item. If not completed properly, the summary information will display an error message, and a note describing the error will be provided nearby. In most cases, the individual cells causing the error will be surrounded with a red border.
On both worksheets, certain columns require a specific response, so the cells within these columns have been validated to prevent the user from entering the wrong information. Each cell that is validated includes a down-arrow. Once selected, a drop-down list appears to provide the user with different response options to choose from.

Inserting and Deleting Line Items

For each worksheet, additional rows may be added or excess rows may be deleted. See the section “General Workpaper Functionality and Tips for Entering Data” for information concerning the tips for and potential effects of inserting and deleting workbook line items.
