Managing profiles

Contract Express allows managing behaviour of questionnaire, generated documents and controlling many other parameters by managing profiles. You can create a profile and assign it to a specific template to manage its behaviour.
Contract Express provides a
built-in profile
- default profile applied to all sites if none other is applied. It is not possible to modify this profile.

Creating profiles

  1. Go to
    Admin
    >
    Profiles
    .
  2. Click
    New profile
    button.
  3. Set
    Profile name
    and
    description
    .
  4. Configure the profile settings in the sections described below.
Below is the list of profile sections:
Section name
Description
Locale
Controls the behaviour of all pieces of information modified by locales. It is possible to set a specific language, but also to override certain parts using a customised locale (see Managing locales).
Questionnaire
Controls the behaviour of your templates’ online questionnaire.
Preview
Controls the behaviour of the document preview within the questionnaire.
Document
Controls the behaviour of the generated document.
Advanced
Contains advanced options, such as Contract data retention, the removal of excluded spans and the representation of unresolved mark-up.

Editing Profiles

All profiles are editable, except for Built-in profile.
To edit a profile:
  1. Go to
    Admin
    >
    Profiles
    .
  2. Select the required profile.
  3. Make required changes. You can edit any settings of a profile.
  4. Click
    Save
    .
Open the profile by clicking on its name; all settings are editable.

Deleting Profiles

You can delete profile either by:
  • Checking the profile in the list, clicking
    Delete
    and confirming deletion.
  • Opening the profile, clicking
    Delete
    and confirming deletion.

Downloading and uploading profiles

Contract Express allows downloading and uploading profiles.
To download a profile, select the required profile and click
Download profile
button.
To upload a profile, click
Upload profile
in
Admin
>
Profiles
and select the .xml file of profile to upload.
