Configuration

Schematics
Schematic can be created for an Excel that has data in complex format such as both Row and Column. Previously, for an Excel file, Schematics could only be created or processed where data is represented in linear format, row by row. As an enhancement, Schematics can also be created for an Excel file where data is in matrix format, row and column.
This is achieved by selecting Complex (Row/Column) under Format dropdown that is displayed once File Type is selected to be Excel.
Once Complex (Row/Column) is selected, the Start Row and Columns get disabled and Range and new field called, Begin Row get displayed as mandatory fields.
Begin Row – Row where the actual data starts that application should take into consideration Range – Set of Rows and Columns to where the data is related.
Once the Range and Begin Row are provided, the Columns will auto-populate with the number that the converted csv will result in, after which the columns can be mapped to Blueprint fields.
Preview here displays the data that is converted from Excel by using the Begin Row and Range values provided.
Begin Row should always be greater than the value of the End Range To preview a complex Excel file, Range and Begin Row should be provided.
