Set up a fund hierarchy

Engagement Manager organizes your fund data into the following hierarchy: (I) Category, (II) Type, (III) Fund, (IV) Subfund.
Follow these steps to set up a fund hierarchy for a fund template in Engagement Manager.
  1. In Engagement Manager, select
    Setup
    , then
    Fund Templates
    .
  2. Select the fund template from the
    Fund Templates
    dropdown.
  3. Select Add category
    Add category
    .
  4. Enter a name for the category, then select
    Save
    .
  5. Optional: Add a type for the new category
    1. Select the category.
    2. Select Add type
      Add type
      .
    3. Enter a type name, then select
      Save
      .
  6. Optional: Add a fund for the selected type
    1. Select the fund.
    2. Select Add fund
      Add fund
      .
    3. Enter a fund code and a description, then select
      Save
      .
  7. Optional: Add a subfund
    1. Select the category or fund where you want to add the subfund.
    2. Select Add subfund
      Add sub fund
      .
    3. Enter a subfund code and description, then select
      Save
      .
  8. Select
    Save
    to save your changes to the fund template.
