Audit Intelligence Analyze

Feature enhancements
  • New implementations have been introduced in the Microsite for Dynamic 365 and Netsuite connector.
  • Added tabs in Step 3 of Decide Extent of Testing within Journal Entries to test for completeness.
  • Display of a message on all segment tabs when a user saves a WP without performing DET.
Journal Entries Subledger
  • Updated the text of the Edit items button in DET within the Journal Entries Subledger.
  • Transaction IDs are now included when saving to Workpapers Excel within the Journal Entries Subledger.
  • Corrected the accurate currency type display for all Subledgers.
Pricing Module
  • Updates to the unit balance screen and existing analysis processes as part of the migration process in the AIA Pricing module.
  • Changes to the usage report now include Order Net Value column linked to the Order Document number.
  • Overage units are now displayed when exhausting all active tokens.
General functionality and performance upgrades
  • Improved the reindexing process for client information within the AIA module.
  • Prevent sample generation when using Back, Continue, and Back to overview buttons, ensuring only selections made are saved.
  • An error message will be displayed if a tolerable misstatement exceeds 12 digits in all subledgers.
  • Corrected a validation message for Update Subscription notification, Test for completeness, and Describe Selection Method and Testing Procedures text box.
  • Restored the acknowledgement message and info icon data for checkboxes when the Analyze screen is maximized.
  • The Risk score column has been removed from tables where the risk score equals zero.
  • Edit Items and View Items will correctly be displayed when adjusting zoom.
  • The Save changes pop-up will be shown only for first-time use.
  • We ensured the proper load of the Request Ledger Data Screen in the Analyze tab.
  • The opening balance now displays in workpapers for cash and accounts payable at cash accounts and balance level to test.
  • Corrected the transaction level to test in inventories/journal entry workpapers.
  • Corrected the column order in all population tables in the workpaper for Original Transaction Amount.
  • Addressed an exception that occurred when the user clicked Reset more than twice after selecting a company from the list.
  • Resolved issues present during the NetSuite upload process.
  • Restored email notifications for failed data uploads.
  • Ensured samples are generated when 'Save and Continue' is selected after changing the sample size.
  • Restored inventories subledger with the Validis accounting package.
  • Secured bulk delete functionality is working for ledger requests.
  • Corrected transaction IDs with a reporting amount of zero from incorrectly displaying in the WP.
  • Addressed an issue where the unit balance screen reflected incorrect data when cancelled and suspended statuses were updated.

Client communications

General functionality and performance upgrades
  • Content in textboxes will now completely be displayed in PDFs for non-ICA client forms.
  • Restored the sign-out button in the communication tab, ensuring visibility.
  • Addressed an issue where property fields were not getting updated until the user refreshed the screen for larger files.
  • The audit disclosure form has been integrated into the microsite.
  • Performance improvements have been made to upload documents larger than 95 MB from client communications to workpapers.

Engagement Manager

Feature enhancements
New Journal Entries
  • The last distribution row will now automatically fill in the difference amount needed for journal entry balancing.
  • When selecting the reference for a journal entry, it will open in the same browser window instead of the pop-out window.
  • Improved functionality for searching and adding accounts for engagements involving many accounts (~15k).
  • Filter settings on the listing page are now reliably retained when changing tabs or re-entering engagements.
  • Ensured seamless navigation through the distribution grid using the Tab key when adding or editing entries.
  • The screen reader will properly announce changes made to the columns of the distribution grid.
  • Tooltips have been enhanced to maintain visibility when column widths are reduced.
  • The UI improvements have removed the overlap of the breadcrumb dropdown with the grids.
  • Restored alert messages when attempting to add journal entries without selecting any accounts.
Workpapers
  • Improved user awareness of ongoing progress during copying, pasting or adding multiple workpapers has been achieved through key updates:
  • A loading icon has been introduced to indicate processing activity.
  • An informative validation modal is displayed when uploading password-protected PDF files.
  • The Save or Next buttons are temporarily disabled to prevent repeated clicking.
  • Corrected unintended suffixes appearing in WP references when attempting to move finalized workpapers to the recycle bin.
  • The previous fix will additionally ensure that alert messages are displayed correctly.
  • Ensured consistent display of Roll Forward Properties when adding workpapers through existing engagement templates, and when copying/pasting Checkpoint tools WP.
  • The preview panel will allow users to adjust zoom levels and scroll through content.
Trial Balance
  • Amended the ability to continue with and import process for Trial Balance comparison.
  • Resolved an issue where a new Trial Balance account would prepopulate with a previously added JE account.
  • Enhanced performance and reduced memory usage to ensure the successful import of large trial balances.
  • More detailed and specific error alerts will appear and guide users to resolve issues when attempting to add existing accounts to the Trial balance.
General functionality and performance upgrades
  • Improvements have been made to enhance the EM dashboard by loading all data, upgrading response times, and preventing timeouts.
  • Reinstated email notifications for user-defined notifications rules.
  • Addressed an inconsistency where the "Replace with Placeholder" option was unavailable on random documents during the Roll Forward process.
  • Ensured the client's name and number were properly loaded in the Roll Forward wizard, securing successful completion of the process.
  • Enhanced the UI to ensure consistent and accurate language for both US and UK users.
  • Ensured that customized column widths are retained when editing Workpaper properties, modifying views in Trial Balance tab and selecting accounts in the New Journal Entries screen.
  • Resolved discrepancies in Letter case between GFR and EM when creating or reindexing client names.
  • Modernized code in the Manage Users area for improved performance and stability.
  • Upgraded performance in the reading process to import large trial balances, load consolidated binders, saving accounts, workpaper search and roll forward actions.
