Types of reports

You can create several different types of engagement-specific and administrative reports in Engagement Manager.

Engagement-specific reports

The following reports can be created from the Workpapers tab of an engagement.
Account Grouping report
Lists account numbers and balances grouped together by account grouping code and subcode.
Chart of Account report
Lists information about all accounts set up for the client in the Trial Balance tab, such as account number, account type, and account description. You can also include the account grouping codes and subcodes, tax codes and subcodes, tickmarks, and workpaper references from the Trial Balance tab.
Journal Entry report
Can be created for any type of journal entry in the engagement such as adjusting, reclassifying, federal tax, state tax, or proposed.
Trial Balance report
Lists balances for selected basis types for each account. Optionally the report can include journal entries, workpaper references, tickmarks, and variances. Workpaper references and tickmarks will be the ones displayed on the Trial Balance tab.
Notes report
Lists the details of the notes created in an engagement. Since notes are deleted when an engagement is finalized, you can use this report to create a permanent record of the notes.
Tax Code report
Lists the account number and balances itemized by tax codes and subcodes. The report can also list M-3 tax codes and subcodes. Any balance types and journal entries can be presented.
Trial Balance - Divisional report
Only available in engagements with a divisional account structure. You can select one or multiple divisions.
Fund Balance report
Only available in Fund type engagements. Lists balance data by account and fund selections.
Account Grouping - Fund Set report
Only available in Fund type engagements. Lists account numbers and balances for fund sets you have organized for reporting purposes, grouped together by account grouping code and subcode.

Administrative reports

You can create the following reports if you have administrative permissions.
Engagement Status report
Lists engagements based on the designated options, including the name, type, PIC, status, year-end date, report date, completion date, days remaining, and deletion date.
Fund Listing report
Displays a listing of the fund hierarchy for an engagement or fund template that you designate.
Notification Rules List report
Lists rule ID, rule name, notification method (alert or email), rule availability, and the rule creator.
Roles List report
Lists the permissions for each permission group role.
Users List report
Lists users, the permission groups they are assigned to, and the privileges for each user.
