Data backup and retention policies

Backups and disaster recovery systems are in place and designed to protect your firm's data and eliminate the need for offline copies.
We back up Engagement Manager documents and the SQL database using the following retention schedule:
  • Nightly backups for 14 days
  • End-of-month backups for 4 months
note
  • Notes and other items identified in the current purge policy are removed immediately when deleted. You may be able to retrieve some data by contacting Engagement Manager Technical Services.
  • To request that a document or SQL database be restored, contact Engagement Manager Support and a representative will assist you with this process
  • If you are interested in offline backup, Engagement Manager offers optional fee-based backup options for all documents stored. Contact your Account Representative for more information.
