Error: GoFileRoom toolbar doesn't display in Adobe Acrobat

Scenario

After installing GoFileRoom Add-Ins, the GoFileRoom toolbar doesn't display in Adobe Acrobat.

Solutions

Solution 1
  1. Double-click the
    GFRAcrobatInstaller.exe
    located in:
    • 32-bit Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\GoFileRoom\GFRAcrobat\Distribution
    • 64-bit Windows: C:\Program Files\GoFileRoom\GFRAcrobat\Distribution
Solution 2
  1. Copy all API files and the Annotations folder located in:
    • 32-bit Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat xx.x\Acrobat\plug_ins
    • 64-bit Windows: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat xx.x\Acrobat\plug_ins
  2. Paste the API files and Annotations folder into your Acrobat plug-ins directory as previously noted.
  3. Select
    Yes
    to overwrite all, if prompted.

  1. Open Adobe Acrobat.
  2. Select
    Edit
    , then
    Preferences
    .
  3. Select
    General
    in the Categories list.
  4. In the Application Startup section, make sure that the
    Use only certified plug-ins
    checkbox is cleared and the current setting for
    Currently in Certified Mode
    is
    No
    .
  5. If clearing the
    Use only certified plug-ins
    checkbox and restarting Acrobat doesn't fix the problem, contact GoFileRoom Support.
Solution 4
Refresh the toolbars by opening Adobe Acrobat and pressing Alt+F8 on your keyboard.
