ClientFlow group document security

Some firms may want to have multiple portals for a single client. For example, they may have a bookkeeper who needs access to only certain documents.
Larger clients might have different departments that need access to different documents, while the owner would have access to all the documents in the portal.
The easiest way to administer this is with group document security.

ClientFlow security group examples

After you set up the groups, you can apply group document security:
  1. Go to
    Administration
    ,
    Manage Users & Groups
    , then select the
    ClientFlow Users
    tab.
  2. Add the group to the
    Member Of
    list.

  • If a portal owner has permissions to see all documents in the client portal, group document security is not necessary.
  • If a portal owner needs to be limited to certain documents, you can set up ClientFlow groups and give them group-level document security.
