Introducing SafeSend Integration with GoFileRoom

SafeSend's July 26,2025 release includes a new Print to GoFileRoom enhancement, allowing users to transmit a single or multiple documents electronically signed by clients using SafeSend (e.g., 8879, etc.) to GoFileRoom with just one click.
If your firm is licensed for both products, be sure to take advantage of this easy to deploy and easy to use feature. This enhancement frees up time spent on an administrative task by automating what today is anywhere from a 5 to 15 clicks manual process per document.

Improved SurePrep Integration for a Smoother Busy Season

We’ve made behind-the-scenes enhancements to ensure a more reliable and seamless connection between GoFileRoom and SurePrep—especially during your busiest times. These improvements mean you can count on a smoother experience and fewer interruptions when it matters most.

Client Lookup Search Optimization

We have resolved an issue where trailing spaces in client number/name lookup values on the
Add Documents
screen hindered GoFileRoom's ability to search for associated workflows. The application now prevents the addition of trailing spaces, ensuring accurate and efficient searches.

Improved Workflow Routing Accuracy

Addressed a problem where skipping steps led to incorrect group assignments in Workflow routing. The GoFileRoom application now refreshes the 'Assigned to Group' field, ensuring it clears previous values and correctly reflects the next step's responsible user/group.

Reports

We have introduced detailed visibility controls in the Security Report for GoFileRoom Administrators. The report will now display the reports the user has access to. Empowering admins to manage report access, ensuring that staff visibility is appropriate to their roles and managerial levels.

Portal Administration

Refinements were made to ensure administrative tasks properly saved and are carried out smoothly. We addressed a problem where leaving the ClientFlow or Client Center tab, without saving changes, the application didn’t prompt you to save your edits. With these changes, you will now receive save prompts to ensure data accuracy and all edits made are retained.

Automation and APIs

New FirmFlow Endpoint
  • A new endpoint has been implemented to fetch the list of service types that are available within a firm's drawer.
  • Refinements to the FirmFlow TrackingReportByDeliverable API:
    With improvements to the TrackingReportByDeliverable API Endpoint, users can now receive accurate AssignedOn and LastUpdated properties, ensuring reliable workflow reporting and consistent data integrity.
GoFileRoom User Login Rights API:
  • The Get User Login Rights API endpoint has been enhanced, enabling user-level permissions to override group-level permissions. This update provides greater flexibility and accuracy in managing individual user access.
