Workflow Notes and Checklist: Inability to View and UI displays blank

A recent Google Chrome Version update (136.0.7103.114 and recent Microsoft Edge version 136.0.3240.76) impacted the ability to View and/or Add FirmFlow notes.

Ideas Community

We are excited to announce a new Ideas community for submitting your ideas for product improvements within the CS Professional Suite & Onvio Community. We discontinued use of the Idea Incubator platform effective April 24, 2025 and have updated the GoFileRoom help menu bar to launch the new Community (Help > Ideas Community). We believe these changes will make it easier for you to share your insights and help us create products that better meet your needs.
Key benefits of the new system include the following:
  • Thomson Reuters Communities provide a single experience for customers to seek peer support and provide input on potential product enhancements.
  • Collaborative community system to work and share best practices with other TR customers.
  • Optional weekly digest emails and activity notifications inform customers with the latest ideas and discussions.

  • By voting ideas up or down, you can help prioritize the importance of ideas submitted.

Invalid Error Message Displayed: GoFileRoom Add-in Not Installed

An issue has been addressed impacting GoFileRoom and Engagement Manager, which may randomly present an invalid error message:
Add-in is Not Installed. Please install the latest version of the GoFileRoom Add-in.
This message may have appeared when attempting to edit and save a document. However, edits to the documents will save as expected. Please note that there is no need to take action or perform any additional Add-in installation.

Document Management: Move Document Feature

We have addressed an issue preventing the ability to move documents to other GoFileRoom Drawers. (Right-click on the document and select Move Document)

Records Management / RecordsFlow

  • RecordsFlow approval process: We have addressed an issue where the list of Approvers did not display (shows blank) when attempting to route RecordsFlow actions for approval to other stakeholders within your firm. This impacted Recycle management, Policy management, and the execution of other Policy-related features.
  • User interface refinements have been made to properly display the Automatic purge selections so that the selection displays properly for the approvers.

Routing History, Assigned By

The Routing History, Assigned By field had inaccurately displayed a User or Group name from the previous step, even though this user did not perform any action and may have not interacted with the routing. This release corrects the issue and properly reflects who routed the workflow to the next step.

SurePrep / GoFileRoom Integration

  • We have added extra safeguards to assure SurePrep Workflows are properly auto-routing to the preparation step once they have been assigned to SurePrep and source documents have been uploaded.
  • We have updated the GoFileRoom / SurePrep integration to more accurately share the user sign-in name that performed actions on a SUREPREP SOURCE DOCUMENTS. Prior versions may have shared a generic user name when a document was deleted or reindexed.

Automation & APIs

New API’s published to developers.thomsonreuters.com
  • Two new GoFileRoom API endpoints are offered to better administer multiple users and groups:
    • v1/administration/group/users – Provides the ability to add a single, or multiple, users to a group.
    • v1/administration/group/removeusers – Facilitates removing a single, or multiple users, from a group.
    • POST /api/v1/drawers/{drawerId}/Indexes - We have created a generic endpoint where users can add multiple Index Values for the corresponding Index Id in Hierarchy. Previously drop-down values could only be added to drop-down master list only via the application’s UI.
Large Document API
We have made refinements to the LargeDocument API collection where it was possible to receive 500 Internal Server Errors when uploading documents, but the document was uploading as expected.
getUsers update match the UI screen
v1/administration/user/getUsers had been updated to match label has to be similar to the UI screen "Allow Export of Multiple Documents". Because of the recent changes in the GoFileRoom UI regarding the Work Offline option has been replaced with "Allow Export of Multiple Documents" but in GetUsers End point response still we can see it as Offline. GetUsers End point Offline label in response doesn't match with UI option Allow Export of Multiple Documents.
Intermittent "Execution Timeout Expired" error
We have addressed intermittent "Execution Timeout Expired" errors when running queries to the /v1/administration/group/documentsecurity endpoint.
