IND-160 e-file error

Form 1040: On Form 1040, the Social Security Number of the Qualifying Child entered is identical to the Taxpayer or Spouse SSN. They must be unique.
This happens when there is a duplicate entry here that was already entered in the section

Solution

  1. In the
    Organizer
    , select
    General Information
    .
  2. Go to
    Basic Return Information
    , then
    Taxpayer Information
    .
  3. In the
    Filing Status
    section, remove the duplicate entry.
  4. Do a full recompute.
  5. Recreate the e-file.
