Form 568 Schedule T: When using California 568 Schedule T aggregation, Form 568 Side 4 Schedule T Total tax due must have amount populated and must equal the sum of all Col G Net tax due from aggregation file
This happens when Form 568, Side 4, Schedule T, Total amount of tax due is incorrect.

Solution

  1. Go to
    Tax forms
    ,
    States
    ,
    California
    ,
    568
    and select
    568
    .
  2. Select the
    568, Side 4
    tab.
  3. In the
    Schedule T
    section, make a note of the total amount of tax due.
  4. Select the
    Detail
    link.
  5. Verify that the
    Net Tax Due
    column hasn't been overridden for any partners.
  6. The
    total
    for the
    Net Tax Due
    column should be equal to what is on
    Schedule T, Total tax due
    .
If a partner is showing in error, use the following steps.
  1. Go to
    Organizer
    ,
    Partner by Partner information
    ,
    Name of partner
    , and then
    Partner information
    .
  2. Select the
    State information
    tab.
  3. In the
    California
    section, deselect
    Nonconsenting nonresident who did not sign Form 3832
    .
