NCBUS-1200 e-file error

NCBUS-1200 - Associated K-1's Received - [NC K-1 Supplemental Schedule - C: D401S/D403/D407] Part A Line 16 must equal the sum of Lines 1 through 15 for Column A (Amount from All Sources) and Column B (Amount of Column A from N.C. Sources).
This happens when you are missing information required by the state. Sch NC K-1 Supp, Page 1 Part A Line 16 must equal the sum of Lines 1 through 15 for Column A (Amount from All Sources) and Column B (Amount of Column A from N.C. Sources).
Solution 1
  1. Go to the
    Organizer
    ,
    States
    ,
    North Carolina
     folder.
  2. Select the
    Additional K-1 Information, Other Partnership
    folder.
  3. Now select
    Partnership Name
    .
  4. The K-1 received input for the partnership is missing input amounts for
    Total Additions
     line under the
    Additions
     section and
    Total Subtractions
     line under the
    Subtraction
     section. The software can't automatically calculate these fields. This must be entered manually to match the K-1 received exactly.
  5. Do a Full Recompute and recreate the e-file.
Solution 2
  1. Go to the
    Tax forms, States, North Carolina
    folder.
  2. Go to
    Sch NC K-1
    folder.
  3. Select the
    Partner Name
    .
  4. Go to
    Sch NC K-1 Supp, Page 1
    tab.
  5. Go to
    Part A Line 16 must equal the sum of Lines 1 through 15 for Column A (Amount from All Sources) and Column B (Amount of Column A from N.C. Sources)
    .
  6. Do a Full Recompute and recreate the e-file.
