AL20C-001a e-file error

AL20C-001a: if fiscal year checkbox is populated and the 52/53 week filer checkbox is NOT populated, then Tax period Begin Date should be greater than or equal to 02/01/XXXX and less than or equal to 12/31/XXXX.
This happens when fiscal year dates fields have values, this implies a fiscal year return.
Solution
  1. Go to
    Tax form
    ,
    States
    , and select
    Alabama
    .
  2. Go to
    Alabama Privilege tax
    ,
    CPT-Privilege Tax Return
    , and then
    CPT Page 1
    .
  3. Verify that the line
    1a
    has an
    X
    .
  4. If this field is marked, remove the dates in the organizer.
  5. Go to
    Organizer
    ,
    General Information
    , and
    Basic Return information
    .
  6. In the
    Dates
    section, remove dates in the
    Fiscal year beginning
    and
    Fiscal year ending
    fields as having dates in those fields would imply it's a fiscal year return.
