e-file 5500 series returns

To e-file a 5500 return:
  1. Go to
    Organizer
    ,
    E-file
    ,
    5500 Return
    , and then
    Enable E-file
    .
  2. Select
    Enable EFAST2 E-file
    .
  3. Next go to
    Signature Options
    .
  4. Complete the appropriate signer section. Use
    Push To Sign Return
    to populate the
    Signature Time Stamp
    field.
  5. Enter E-Signature Requirements.
  6. Enter the SignerID, PIN, and signature name for the service provider.
  7. For the
    E-signature Attachment
    , indicate if a PDF document named SsignatureAlternative is attached to the return.
  8. Go to
    Organizer
    ,
    E-file
    ,
    Attachments
    , and then
    Summary
    .
  9. Select
    Attach PDF
    and select
    ESignatureAlternative
    .
  10. Perform a full recompute.
  11. Next, go to
    Organizer
    ,
    E-file
    ,
    Status
    , and then
    E-file Status
    .
  12. Select
    Create Validation File
    .
  13. Select
    View
    ,
    Diagnostics
    , and correct any errors.
  14. When the return's cleared of errors, go to
    Organizer
    ,
    E-file
    ,
    Create E-file
    , and then
    Create E-file
    .
  15. Select
    Create DOL E-file
    .
  16. Go to
    E-file
    ,
    Status
    , and then
    E-file Status
    .
  17. To send qualified e-files, go to
    RS Browser
    ,
    Returns Processing
    ,
    E-file
    , and then
    Select Returns
    .
  18. Select an account, tax year, return type = 5500, and e-file type.
  19. Select
    Federal ready to send
    , and then
    Continue
    .
  20. Select returns, and then
    Submit for E-file
    . After completing this step, your returns will be processed and sent to the DOL.
