Validation Updates for Tax Return Import/Export (all years) and DK-1
  • Date Format Validation
    : Updated the validation for the date format (MM/DD/YYYY) to allow for single-digit months or days.
  • Field Length Warnings for Percent Fields
    : Improved the validation process to eliminate incorrect field length warnings for percent fields.
  • Activity Number Maximum Value
    : Updated the maximum value for activity numbers to allow copying numbers up to 99,999 for mastergroups.
  • Form Name Validation
    : Invalid form or field names are warnings instead of errors.
  • A child form without a parent token will be an error.
Import/Export Updates
  • 1065 Tax Return Import/Export
    • Mastergroup Data Clearing
      : Updated the H flag import of mastergroup data to prevent clearing data for non-mastergroup assets.
    • Foreign Partnership Fields Export
      : Corrected the export of foreign partnership fields for 1065 Tax Return Export.
    • Duplicate Royalty Activities
      : The M flag import of royalty activities won't update existing activity numbers correctly.
  • 1120 Tax Return Import/Export
    • Import now allows for the import of all group member items allowed by the 1120 application. Prior to this change the process stopped at 32,767 items.
    • 1040 Tax Return Import/Export
      : Added mastergroup and child for depletion forms.
    • 1041 Tax Return Import/Export
      : Imports using U or R flags won't cause overrides on computed values.
    • 5500, 706, 709 Tax Return Import/Export
      : Updated JSON Export Header Values to correctly export the data.
Resolved: download error log files
The issue affecting the download of error log files for password-protected returns in TRT Import and DK-1 Import has been fixed. Previously, this problem impacted both the "Download All" option and individual row return links in the UI and API.You can now successfully download error logs, ensuring easy access to important error information.
