Locator Access Bug
You can now open the locator even if the taxpayer's name field is empty. This improves your accessibility and flexibility in handling cases with incomplete information.
Login ID In Events
The Login ID is now included in event notifications for actions such as Print, E-file, Import/Export, and Tax Return creation and completion. This enhancement ensures better tracking and auditing of user actions.
API and Event Updates for E-file Status (v2)
New statuses were added for e-file. They give you more detailed information about the e-filing process and help in identifying and resolving issues. This only applies to e-file status V2 API.
The new statuses are a subset of
Qualified
 and are reflected in a new parameter
EFileStatusDetails
. The new statuses display as:
Qualified - Mismatch
 and
Qualified - Suspended
.
Cautionary Note for Return Completion
A new cautionary note is displayed before the completed date is added; it reads:
Are you sure you want to complete this return and lock it for further editing? Please verify that all data is complete in the return, the e-file is created, and the e-file is in the 'qualified' status.
 This makes sure you're informed before finalizing returns.
DK-1 Data Dictionary update
DK-1 has been updated to the 9-column format as of tax year 2024. The data dictionary screen will show the additional Grouping 4 and Grouping 5 columns for the DK-1 section
Print support for 1041 K-1
We added print support for 1041 K-1 selection in the Live API.
