August 1st release notes

What's new

Multiple Opinion Units:
In applicable industries, CX-2.1 (Financial Statement Materiality Worksheet for Planning Purposes) will now be able to accommodate Multiple Opinion Units in a single document in applicable industries (Audits of Local Governments, Audits of Public School Districts, and Public Health Care Entities (Gov.)). Look for the Opinion Units section in CX-2.1 in newly created engagements OR manually add a CX-2.1 in existing engagements using the aforementioned titles to use this new feature.
Single Audit 2024 Compliance Supplement (Available 08.08.2024):
The May 2024 Compliance Supplement will be available to Single Audit users on August 8th. New engagements can be created using this Compliance Supplement OR you can apply this Compliance Supplement to existing engagements by clicking on the “Check for Updates” button in the Single Audit version of CX-1.5 (Single Audit and Major Program Determination Worksheet).
New User Interface:
In an attempt to give our users a larger working area in the application we’ve begun updating our user interface. Take a look using the “Show new layout” toggle in the top right corner of any Guided Assurance workpaper. In this new layout you’ll enjoy a more streamlined and responsive set of toolbars, more intuitive keyboard navigation, and an updated visual appearance. We welcome your feedback and look forward to bringing you further enhancements in the future.

Issues resolved

  • Links added within CX-8 were not working as hyperlinks when a user added a hyperlink via the “Insert Link” option.
  • Roll Forward was failing in some engagements after the user performed the “Update Industry Content” action.
  • After importing from SMART Desktop some users were not able to see Significant Transaction Class sections and comments.
  • The progress bar in AP forms would not update when the properties of an Engagement were modified.
