Accruals Calendar

The accruals calendar shows due dates for the current fiscal year for accruals (unbilled amounts). Due dates for accruals are separate from due dates for budgets and status reports, which are managed separately in the Budget Calendar. For example, if a status report and budget are due in the same month, they have the same due dates. However, accrual due dates are sometimes separate if unbilled amounts are due after the end of the month.

Opening the Accruals Calendar

There are several ways to open the accruals calendar:

  • To edit the accruals calendar, select
    Edit
    on the toolbar.
  • To print the accruals calendar, select the 3 small dots icon and select Edit from the list of options.

Editing the Accruals Calendar

Company system administrators can edit the calendar of events for their organizations. You can apply default values that apply to all months, or update options for individual calendar months.
Setting Default Due Dates for Accruals
If you want to have the same accrual calendar for each month in a fiscal year, you can edit the values in the fields in the
Default
section.

Setting Accruals Due Dates per Month
If you don’t want to use the same due dates for all months in a year, you can specify due dates, input days and reminder days for each month.

Fields

Field
Description
Events
Unbilled Amount
indicates accruals are due.
None
indicates no accruals are due.
note
If Accruals are enabled mid-year, prior months may show
None
until the next fiscal year begins.
Firm Input START
The 1st day that firms or vendors can enter information for that month. On the day specified here:
  • Dashboard alerts are shown to vendors
  • Emails are sent to the vendors' matter participants and to vendor primary contacts, notifying them that they should now begin entering the required information in Tracker.
Firm Email REMINDER
A reminder email will be sent to Firm Primary/Secondary Billing Contacts, Firm users identified with All Matter Access, Firm Lead/Back-up System Administrators.
Firm Input DUE
The date by which the firm or vendor is requested to complete the incomplete tasks.
note
Vendors can't post unbilled time after this date.
Due date
(Edit mode only) The date that users are no longer able to approve or edit the required information. Enter the date in the field provided. For example, if you want accruals to be due on the 15th of the month, type 15.
Corresponds to the
Firm Input DUE
column.
Input Days
(Edit mode only) The total number of days that the vendor can input data. A minimum of 2 days is required. The maximum is 22 days.
Corresponds to the
Firm Input START
column.
Remind Days
(Edit mode only) If the vendor has any matters with incomplete actions, a reminder email will be sent to the matter participants for those matters.
Corresponds to the
Firm Email Reminder
column.
If a company responsible user has any matters with incomplete actions, a reminder email will be sent to that user.
