Working with Fee Upload Files

Alternative fee arrangements (AFAs), are an alternative to traditional hourly billing arrangements. You can create a file that defines the fee arrangements, then use Tracker to upload it. The upload file can be a .csv (comma-separated value) spreadsheet, or a text file.

Upload a Fee Arrangement File

  1. Select
    Matters > Fee Arrangement Upload
    in the left navigation.
  2. Check a button in the
    File Type
    section to select the file type you want to upload.
  3. We recommended that you check the
    Test Only
    and
    Verify all columns are valid
    check boxes to first test the upload file and then fix any errors before proceeding.
  4. Select the
    Browse
    button and navigate to the file to upload.
  5. Click
    Upload
    in the toolbar. The results page shows the total number of matters updated, created or failed.
