Configure Classic Dashboards

Two different kinds of dashboards in Tracker help you visualize data for several important metrics.
  • Classic Tracker dashboards include your personal dashboard, company dashboards, and dashboards that can be shared among multiple users. Tracker Coordinators and Company System Administrators can also see the
    Other's Dashboard
option in the left navigation, and can select another user's dashboard to view.
  • Next generation dashboards use Microsoft's Power BI technology. These dashboards include the persona-based dashboards, such as the GC dashboard, the Firm Dashboard, and custom dashboards.
note
Once you configured dashboards, you must grant access to users.
  1. Select
    Settings
    in the left navigation.
  2. In the
    Features Setup
    section, select
    Reporting and Dashboards
    .
  3. Next to
    Display Active Filters Only
select an option to determine whether you want to use Active Filters and the kind of active filters to be used. Active filters are used with classic dashboards to let you configure the display to show only charts with benchmark data, only charts with company data, or include both kinds of charts. This feature can make it much easier to find relevant data for dashboards.
    • Off
turns Active Filters off. The list of charts will show all charts, regardless of whether the chart contains any data.
    • Benchmark
shows only charts with benchmark data.
    • Company
shows only charts with company data, excluding charts with benchmark data.
    • Both
shows charts with benchmark data and company data.
  4. Next to
    Date to visualize data
, select an option to determine the date that will be used to calculate data. Your date settings determine the date parameters that will be used to show dashboard charts. The default date to visualize the data is the Billing Period End date.
  5. On the toolbar, select
    Save & close
    .
note
Note that the date change will be reflected as of the next data warehouse and Power BI model refresh, meaning it may take up to two days to see the recalculated values.
