Adding a Date or Event to Microsoft Outlook

  1. Open a specific date or event.
  2. On the toolbar, click the three small dots icon, then select
    Get iCalendar
    .
  3. When prompted, click
    Open
    . A new email opens in Outlook.

To save vCalendar files to Microsoft Outlook, .vcs files must be associated with Outlook on your computer. Otherwise, your vCalendar files will simply appear as a text file with the event data.
Associate .vcs files with Outlook:
  1. Go to System Settings and select
    Default Apps > Choose default apps by file type
    .
  2. Scroll down until you find .vcs at the left.
  3. Next to .vcs, select
    Outlook
    .
