Web Services Account Setup

Web Services is the name of an industry-standard technology used for securely transferring information over the Internet. AP batches that are set up to be delivered automatically use Web Services technology. With the automatic option, downloading the AP batch requires no human intervention, and the data cannot be altered.
Web Services can also be used to upload payment data into Tracker for the AP Reverse Feed feature. If you use Web Services for some or your routes, it is not necessary to use it as the delivery method for all of your AP routes.
This option is recommended for companies that process large volumes of legal invoices and that must adhere to strict security policies for its AP data.
If you want to use Web Services, your company must first develop a custom client application to connect to the Tracker AP Data Exchange Web Service. Alternatively, companies can work with third-party consultants to develop a Web Services-based application.
Only a Tracker Administrator can create a Web Services account or assign a new login or password to an existing account.
