Firm profile page

This page shows the information that has been set up in Tracker about a firm. From this page you can also add an office to the firm, edit information about the firm, or export the firm's volume discount history to a spreadsheet.
To open the Firm Profile page, select
Firms
>
Our Firms
in the left navigation, then select the hyperlinked name of the firm in the list.
From the toolbar on this page you can:
  • Save details about volume discount arrangements you have with the firm. Select the three small dots icon on the toolbar, then select the
    Export volume discount details
    option. The firm's volume discount information is saved to your computer's Downloads folder.
  • Show the history of changes that have been made to this firm's profile. Select the three small dots icon on the toolbar, then select the
    View History
    option. A page opens that shows details about changes to the firm's profile.
Profile Page Tabs
The tabs on this page show different views with more detailed information about the firm. Filters allow you to quickly find information.

Firm Scorecard
The
Firm Scorecard
tab provides easily accessible information about the firm, such as data about a firm's performance and how it compares to other firms.
Filters let you customize the data.

This feature is not yet generally available to all users. Contact your Tracker Coordinator if you are interested in evaluating this feature.
Dashboard
Company System Admins and Tracker Coordinators see the
Dashboard
tab, which shows charts that provide a holistic view of a law firm's performance, and the nature of the firm’s activity.
Select the sub-tabs to page through the available visualizations.
From this tab you can also:
  • Add an office to the firm. On the toolbar, select
    Add office
    .
  • Export the dashboards to a PowerPoint or PDF file. Select
    Export
    on the toolbar.
Profile
The
Profile
tab shows information about the firm, including number of attorneys, principal contacts, allowed currencies and formats, any firm alerts that have been defined, and other basic information about the firm. This tab is also where you can enable the requirement for outside counsel evaluations.
To edit the firm's profile, select
Edit firm profile
on the toolbar.
On this tab you can:
  • Select the three small dots icon from the toolbar, then select
    Edit Firm Profile
    to update the firm's profile.
    Tip | You can use the bulk update feature to edit information for many firms or vendors at once.
  • Select
    Add office
    on the toolbar to add an office.
Offices
The
Offices
tab shows a list of offices associated with the firm and their addresses. You can click the hyperlinked name of an office to open the office profile.
Select
Add office
on the toolbar to add an office.
Matters
The
Matters
tab shows all open matters where the firm is the lead firm or participant. You can apply filters to quickly find information.
Example
  1. Four matters are associated with a firm—two have a status of open and two are closed. You can select the
    Open
    button to show only open matters, or the
    Closed
    button to show only closed matters. The
    Status
    column also reflects these numbers.
  2. If you select the option to filter by matter type, you can quickly see that three of the four matters use the matter type template Regulatory, and one uses Other. If you want to show only the matters that are not regulatory, you would select the
    Other
    hyperlink.
Timekeepers
The
Timekeepers
tab shows information about timekeepers with approved effective rates that have been submitted within the last three years.
From this view, you can select the three small dots icon on the toolbar to export timekeeper data to a .csv file.
You can apply filters to provide a more concise view of the information on this tab.
Users
The
Users
tab shows the list of Tracker users for the firm, including information such as the user's system role, position, contact information, and matters to which they are assigned.
  • You can click on a column header to sort by that column.
  • You can use filters to quickly find specific users.
Example
In this example:
  1. Five users in this firm are set up to use Tracker.
  2. Two users, Bill Baxter and Heather Lawyer, are matter participants. If you select the
    Matter participants
    button, the list will show only those users. Two users are locked out because they have not logged in to Tracker recently or have been locked out because of too many incorrect login attempts. Tip | To unlock a locked out user, you can select
    Edit
    next to the user's name to open their administrative profile, and one user is inactive.
  3. One user has a system role of Firm Administrator. Two users are Firm Users, and two users have a system role of Firm User + Billing. If you select
    System Role
    in the
    Filter by
    section, then select the
    Firm User
    option, the list is filtered to show only the users whose system role is Firm User, Bill Baxter and Betsy Philips.
