Set Spending Limits in a Matter

Task code alerts help you monitor spending by task codes in matters. Companies can set spending limits at the task code set, phase, and task code levels. Tracker calculates running totals of spending in comparison to those limits. If the law firm submits an invoice that goes over the spending limit, a task code alert is triggered.
To ensure firms are aware of limits when they submit invoices, the firms acknowledge the company's spending limits once they are final.
