Generating a List of Addresses of Firm Users

You can download the mailing addresses of law firm users in Tracker, and then use the address information with a word-processing program to generate a mass mailing to law firm users. This topic explains how to use Microsoft Word for your mass mailing.
Required role | Only Company System Administrators can generate this list of mailing addresses.
  1. Click
    Users
    >
    User list
    from the left navigation.
  2. Use the view selectors to configure the list of users you want to include in the results, and then click
    Change View
    .
  3. On the
    Actions
    menu, click
    Export CSV
    .
  4. Convert the .csv file to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet:
    • Open the file in Microsoft Excel and on the
      File
      menu select
      Save As
      or
    • Change the file type to Microsoft Excel, and then save the file.
  5. Optional Make desired changes to the spreadsheet contents.
  6. Create the letter in Microsoft Word, and on the
    Tools
    menu, select
    Letters and Mailings
    , and then select
    Mail Merge Wizard
    .
