View Client Comments

Invoice Comments

When your client reduces, rejects or disputes an invoice, Tracker requires the invoice reviewer to provide a comment to the firm. Clients can also create comments during the approval process that will be available for firm users to read after the invoice is fully approved.
To view the comments for an invoice that was approved, reduced or rejected:
  1. Click
    Billing
    in the left navigation.
  2. If necessary, click
    View invoices
    . You may need to complete this step if
    Accruals
    displays because unbilled amounts are due.
    View invoices
    lets you view all pending invoices, invoices that were approved in the past 30 days and invoices that were rejected in the past 180 days. Use the view selectors if you want to change what is displayed on the page.
  3. Click the invoice number for the invoice you want to view client comments for.
  4. Click
    Show comments
    to view the comments from your client.
To view disputed comments:
  1. Click
    Billing
    in the left navigation.
  2. If necessary, click
    View invoices
    . Disputed invoices display under the
    DISPUTED INVOICES
    collapsible section.
  3. Click
    View dispute history
    for the applicable disputed invoice. The invoice profile displays. You can view the comments under the
    APPROVERS & APPROVAL HISTORY
    collapsible section.
