Complete or Update the Matter Profile

When a company user creates a matter, both company and law firm users complete certain information about a matter. This information is referred to as the matter profile. The matter profile information is shown on the
Profile
tab for the matter.

Your firm is responsible for completing the matter profile only if your firm is specified as the lead firm for the matter. You will not be able to edit the matter profile if you have access to the matter but only as a secondary firm.
To complete or update a matter profile:
  1. From the Matter list page, access the matter, then click
    Profile
    .
  2. Click
    Edit
    in the toolbar.
  3. Complete the required fields. Required fields are marked with a red star.

    Law firms can edit only the law firm fields in the matter profile. If there is incorrect information in the matter profile fields completed by company users then you need to contact the Lead Company Person for the matter to request that the field be updated.
  4. Click
    Save & close
    in the toolbar.
