Posting a Note to a Matter

Required role | Company and law firm matter administrators or matter editors, can post a note to a matter.
To manage matter notes:
  1. Select
    Matters
    >
    Matter list
    in the left navigation.
  2. In the list of matters, locate the matter you want to work with and click its hyperlinked name to open it.
  3. Select the
    Status
    tab.

Add a Note to a Matter

  1. On the toolbar, select
    Create note
    .
  2. Complete the form.
  3. Next to
    Access security
    , select a button to indicate whether this note will be visible to all matter participants or only company matter participants.
  4. If you want to attach a file to the note, you can select
    Browse
    and select the file.
  5. On the toolbar, select
    Save & close
    .
