Submit a Status Report

Only law firm users who have a matter role of Matter Administrator or matter editor can submit (or file) a status report. Company users can also submit (or file) status reports in external matters.
Status reports are entered directly into Tracker to ensure that the information is available for management reports, status summary views and on invoice review pages. Status reports cannot be submitted as document attachments because it would not be possible to display status information in the matter profile, management reports and on invoice review pages.
To submit a status report:
  1. Access the applicable matter or matter group.
  2. Click
    Status
    .
  3. Click
    Create status
    in the toolbar.
  4. Complete one of the following:
    • Select
      No
      change from prior status report if there are no changes to the matter or matter group since your last status report.
    • Enter your new status report in the
      Matter Status
      field.
  5. Indicate whether there were material developments since the last status report.
  6. Select the access security for the status report.
  7. Click
    Save & close
    in the toolbar.
