Viewing Status Reports and Notes

Status page

On the Status page of a matter, you can view status reports only, notes only, or both, and you can view them in detail or in summary.
Both status reports and notes for a matter are listed on the Status page of that matter.
Required role | All matter participants can see status reports and notes designated as All Matter Participants, but only company matter participants can see status reports and notes designated Company Matter Participants Only.
  1. Open the relevant matter.
  2. Click the
    Status
    tab.
  3. In the first drop-down menu, select either
    Summary View
    or
    Detail View
    .
  4. In the second drop-down menu, select
    All
    ,
    Status Only
    , or
    Notes Only
    .
  5. Click
    Change View
    .
Summary view
The summary view displays the subject line for each item, and you can click the date link to see the details.
Detail view
The detail view lists complete information for all of the items in the list. You can use the print function in your browser to print all of the status reports and notes for a matter in one document.

Profile page

The Profile page of each matter displays the most recent status report, regardless of whether it was submitted by a company user or a firm user.
Firm users:
Law firm users see only the most recent status report designated as All Matter Participants. Lead firm matter participants can also see the most recent status report designated as Company and Lead Firm Matter Participants.
Company users:
If the matter is an external matter (which may or may not have a lead firm), company users see the most recent status reports designated as All Matter Participants, Company and Lead Firm Matter Participants, and Company Matter Participants Only."
