Domains (tax types)

Domains are a curated list of Tax Types and Business Filings maintained at the platform level.
Like Entities, each Domain can be associated with one or more products. By creating this association, the list of Domains made available in the associated product will be tailored to each product.
In Calendar, the following will be based on the domains associated with the Calendar product:
  • the obligations presented in the scheduling wizard
  • the obligations available to be scheduled via the due date import process
  • the tax types available to be scheduled via the custom due date import process

Associate domains

  1. To begin, navigate to
    Reference Data
    , then
    Domains
    .
  2. Next, check the boxes next to the desired domains and select
    Associate Applications
    .
  3. Select
    Calendar
    , then
    Save
    .
  4. The purple CAL tag will appear on the row and the domain will be available for scheduling event.
