Step 4: Consolidate the return

  1. Select Organizer > Consolidations > Step 4 – Consolidate.
  2. Click the Consolidate! button.
During the consolidation process, the following steps are performed:
  1. Run a preconsolidation utility that deletes previous consolidated files.
  2. Combine amounts from every return on the consolidated listing.
  3. Perform an initial compute of the consolidated tax return.
  4. Apply Eliminations adjustments entered in the eliminations return.
  5. Perform the remaining computations.
  6. Apply any automatic adjustments.
Processing time may vary depending upon the number, size and complexity of the returns included in the consolidation.
