Form MS 4562, Depreciation and Amortization print requirements

To print Form MS 4562, Depreciation and Amortization, there needs to be a difference between the federal and the state for the MS 4562 to print.
  1. In Organizer, select
    Income and Deductions
    , then
    Deductions
    .
  2. Select
    Deprecation and Amortization
    , then
    General Deprecation
    , then
    Amortization.
  3. Select
    Form 4562 Information
    , then
    4562 Overrides
    .
  4. Select the
    Mississippi 4562 Overrides
     tab.
  5. Complete the information.
If the form still isn't printing you can force print the form.
  1. In Organizer, select
    States
    , then Mississippi, then State Adjustments.
  2. Go to the Additions section.
  3. Enter
    None
    for the Federal special deprecation allowance (Override).
If the form is still not printing, verify there are amounts on form 84-122.
  1. In Tax Forms, select
    States.
    , then
    Mississippi
    , then
    84-122
    .
  2. Go to line 8 or 15, if there is no amount enter
    None
    for the value.
If the form still isn't printing, make sure that it isn’t suppressed. This form prints with the federal return so if the federal return is suppressed then it suppresses the state form.
  1. In Organizer, select
    State, then
    Common State
    , then
    Print Options
    , then
    Print Suppression
    .
  2. Select the
    Suppression MD-RI
     tab.
  3. Go to
    Mississippi
     and remove the check mark for
    Fed Attach
    .
