Edit default templates

Select any template in the template window. This opens the template in the Editor window. You can start reviewing and customizing it to match your firm's communication style.
Initially, all sections show
Default
in the header bar. Once you customize and save a section,
Default
changes to
Custom
.
By customizing a section, you take ownership of its contents, meaning you won't receive automatic updates from Thomson Reuters for that section.
You'll be informed about any updates, but they won't be applied to your customized section, preserving your changes.
Customizations are tracked by section, so if an update is made to the Addressee Information and Body sections of the Transmittal Letter template, your template will receive the update for the Body section but not for the Addressee Information section.
After saving your customizations, you can revert the entire template to the Thomson Reuters default by selecting a new menu item under the
Actions
menu. You can use this option at any time to return to the default template, even after saving changes and closing the template. Reverting removes your custom template, requiring you to start your customizations.
To add text inside a Template, position the cursor where you want the text, and add the text.
