Allocation and apportionment high-level process

The general processing procedures for allocation and apportionment (A&A) data entry is:
  1. Enter allocation and apportionment data.
  2. Review allocation and apportionment options.
  3. Perform a full recompute on the return.
  4. Activate states in the system. This allows allocation and apportionment data entered to automatically carry to the state tax return(s).
  5. Review A&A information for each state and make any necessary adjustments to include or exclude items on the returns.
  6. Perform another full recompute.
  7. Review the state tax forms.
