S2PTR-0007 e-file error

* S2PTR-0007: The sum of all partners Percent of income (Col C) on Nebraska Schedule II must equal the Column C Total and also must equal 100.000%. When TypeOfOrganization_PubliclyTradedPartnershipInd is checked the TotIncomePct (Column C) must not be less than 100.000% (1.00000).
This happens when partner percentages on Schedule II are less than 100%.

Solution

  1. Go to
    Tax Forms
     and select
    States
    , then
    Nebraska
    .
  2. elect
    1065N, Sch II
    , then
    Sch II
    .
  3. Select
    View Partner Details
     hyperlink the in
    Partner Name
     column.
  4. Ownership percentages need to total 100%. To adjust:
    1. Go to
      Organizer
      Partner Information
      Partner by Partner Data
      Columnar Partner Entry
      .
    2. Go to the
      Ratios\Units
       tab.
    3. In the
      Partners' Ratios or Units
       section, adjust the ratios
    note
    Nebraska only accepts positive values for ownership percentage, so any negative percentages are treated as positive in the e-file. If the percentages can't be adjusted and must remain negative percentages, you'll need to paper file the state return.
  5. Perform a full recompute and re-create the e-file.
