E-file diagnostic: Philadelphia electronic payment methods

The Department of Revenue accepts the following electronic payment methods: Automated Clearing House (ACH) debit transactions, credit and debit card payments, and ACH credit transactions through their banks. To remit electronic payments, register at www.etides.state.pa.us or call Telefile at 8 00-748-8299. All corporation tax payments of $1,000 or more must be remit a check. Checks and money orders are acceptable for payments less than $1 ,000. Please make checks and money orders payable to the PA Department of Revenue and include the Account ID, Entity ID (EIN/SSN or 10-digit Revenue ID), phone number, tax type and tax period end date for which the payment is intended. Mail payments to the PA Department of Revenue, PO BOX 2804 04, Harrisburg, PA 17128-0404
This happens when e-file is created for Philadelphia while the e-file for the state of Pennsylvania is also enabled.

Solution

  1. In Organizer, select
    States
    , then
    State E-file
    .
  2. Select
    Enable/Create Returns
    .
  3. Un-check Column C, Enable for Pennsylvania and then select Column B, Create for Philadelphia.
